I purchased the subscriptions these polishes were in
This holographic black polish is so stunning and I love the pop of witchy and fun Halloweeny stamp designs! How fun are these spooky cats and Ouija board accents?! I love them - I'm not opposed to ouija boards or anything else occultish!
Here is a look at the September 2019 Maniology Mani x Me Hocus Pocus subscription - each month comes with two exclusive stamping plates, two polishes and another nail related item!
The polishes included in the Hocus Pocus box are:
Love Potion ~ baby pink
Black Magick ~ black polish laced with holographic glitters
I have to say that Black Magick is a stunning polish - it looks amazing on and it is super opaque. I used this all over my nails and it was fully opaque in one coat, so it would make a fantastic stamping polish! I was a little disappointed in Love Potion - it was a really thin formula, I was expecting it to be much more opaque. To get the pink on my stamping, I had to go over my stamps three times - which is why they are a little blurry! It would be better as a base polish, but all pictures made it look rather opaque!
To create this mani, I started with a nail cleanser and base coat, then I only needed one coat of Black Magick polish as the base! Then, I stamped on fun designs using Love Potion - closer up you can see that it took a few extra stamping times (3 in total), and one of times, I didn't get them lined up fully so it's a little blurry!
Each month in the Mani x Me subscription, they include 2 exclusive plates, so these aren't available outside of the subscription. But, I had to sign up for the September subscription, because these plates look fantastic! I loved that one included full nail designs with mini pictures and the other one had individual pictures, so they are matching!
Overall, I do love how these turned out! The holographic black polish is stunning for any mani, especially a Halloween mani! I do love how this pink looks with the black, even though it had to be built up! I love the stamping plates and the coordinating stamping designs!
Are you full in to Halloween mode too?! What do you think of these polishes and plates?
